GUARDIAN RECORD

Register it once. We watch the dates.

Guardian Record holds your defibrillator’s dates, its checks and the people who look after it, in one place.

A defibrillator can sit on a wall for years without anyone noticing that the pads have expired or the battery is flat. Guardian Record keeps the dates and tells everyone who looks after it before that happens.

Guardian Record is not open yet. Leave your details at the end of this page and we will email you as soon as you can register. Tell me when it opens

What you get

Free
Every date held for you

Pads, battery and the machine itself, from the details you enter or the order we delivered.

Free
Reminders at 90, 60 and 30 days

By email, to you and to anyone else you name, before anything expires. They can never be switched off.

Free
Everyone who looks after it

One lead and back-ups. Every one of them gets the reminders, so it never depends on one person.

Free for voluntary groups · Pro
A check record you can show

Tick off the monthly check on your phone. The dated record is there for your insurer, your board or your own files.

Dates and reminders are free for any defibrillator, and every defibrillator we supply direct goes on Guardian Record at no charge. The monthly check record is free for volunteer-run groups: community first responders, GAA and other sports clubs, community groups, charities and voluntary organisations. Schools, creches, nursing homes, healthcare, public bodies and businesses get the check record with Guardian Pro.

Registered in three short steps

Have the defibrillator and its pad and battery packaging in front of you.

Step 1
The machine

Make, model, and the pad and battery dates printed on the packaging.

Step 2
Where it lives

The site and the spot, so anyone can find it in a hurry.

Step 3
Who looks after it

You, and anyone you want as a back-up for the reminders.

Three levels

For any defibrillator
Guardian

Your defibrillator on the record with its model, serial, pad and battery dates; reminders at 90, 60 and 30 days; a lead and back-ups who all get the reminders; the monthly check record free for volunteer-run groups.

Recommended for businesses
Guardian Pro

Everything in Guardian, plus your own dated check record kept for you: every check, who did it and when. A named contact for queries, a person and not a ticket number. Still self-managed, with no engineer visit.

With an engineer visit
Guardian Managed

Everything in Pro, plus our engineer comes to you once a year, inspects and tests the defibrillator and checks the dates, with the AED Inspection Record kept for you.

For Guardian Pro or Guardian Managed, or for several defibrillators or sites, ring us on 069 66006 and we will go through it with you.

A missed check does not just sit there

If a check is missed we remind you, then your back-ups. If the defibrillator still has not been checked, we pick up the phone. Five steps, and the fifth one is a person.

  1. Reminder to you
  2. The reminder repeats
  3. Your back-ups are reminded
  4. Their reminder repeats
  5. We ring you

In an emergency call 112/999.
