The Resusciade Vent Aid is a face shield for mouth-to-mouth resuscitation during CPR. The plastic shield covers the casualty's mouth and has a one-way valve intended to protect the rescuer from infection. It is supplied as a single unit in a resealable bag, which keeps it clean and makes it easy to store in a first aid kit for use in an emergency.
